NRF 2012 HIGHLIGHTS
We hope you made it home safety from this year’s NRF BIG Show in New York, and thank you for stopping by our booth. Together with our partners, we demonstrated a variety of solutions designed to help retailers anticipate shopper needs and desires, innovate to drive trips, orchestrate desired shopper behavior, close sales, and inspire shopper loyalty.We also showcased our latest mobile point of sale, mobile bar code scanning and device management solutions, including the new MPM-100 Bluetooth Mobile Payment Module, LI4278 linear imager and Mobility Services Platform (MSP), 4.0, as well as the recently-introduced ET1 tablet, MC2100 mobile computer and RhoElements application development framework.

A retailer can slash prices, roll out one-day specials and offer coupons for free items. But at the end of the day, the in-store customer experience trumps all, where long lines and poor service can quickly sour even the most loyal customer relationship. And one function that is crucial to the customer experience is your last point of contact during any purchase — your point of sale (POS).
The latest installment of Motorola's holiday shopper survey found that one-third of store visits ended with an average of $125 unspent due to missed opportunities to purchase and that inefficient payment processes were one of the leading contributors to those lost sales. The survey also revealed that mobile point of sale improves the customer experience; more than 43% of shoppers agreed that their shopping experience is improved when store associates use mobile point of sale devices.
